this is the life... being the mom of three growing kids, married to an easy going and loving guy, and definitely keeping busy with all of my own projects... gardening, beekeeping, stamping, sewing, making dinner, making lunch, doing laundry, doing more laundry, oh, and more laundry..... all in my home state of Alaska.... so add shoveling some snow to my list of things to do....

Montezuma's castle
Here we are at the ruins... it was a bit of a grey day, but still a nice temp. and a good day for a walk.
This is Fort Verde... pretty interesting... has period furnishings in the buildings and a nice little museum... the kids were sworn in as junior rangers.
Me by some rocks!
Saguaros on the hill on the drive back to town.
Found a good tree for a pic. opportunity!
Playing with Dad's camera....
They seem to pose well... hmm... wonder if the camera's been out a bit????
couple more posers, and an anteater too!!

Phoenix!!!
So we went to Phoenix, but we took a trip to Australia while we were there....
At the Boyce Thompson Arboretum they had a little Australian ranch/farm set-up. Elic wanted to live there!!!
I love the way her hair blends with the grass behind it...
All the cactus together!!! actually the kids weren't very "prickly" today!
This one's for my mom... she has all of these sort of blue decorations in her yard at home, and she liked this flower, so she mentioned taking them together... good idea?!!!
They are sitting on an iguana bench, under a cactus wood shelter.
This is a "Green Rose" pretty interesting eh???
The little photographer setting up her shot... they all like to take pics. but it seems Georgea is really into it.
Elic and Rosalee enjoy a little shade...
playing in the children's garden, and loving it!! the maze was the best!!
